In a fleeting moment
while finding my way through busy airport crowds
I become aware
of your calm, stylish voice.
In a fleeting moment
my eyes turn subconsciously to meet yours.
Your Arabic eyes saying you have sales targets to meet.
And young ones at home to raise.
Mine saying: I don’t care about Armani. ⠀

In a fleeting moment
I instinctively waive you and your business card aside.
You instantly accept defeat.
Silently. Gracefully stepping back to your kiosk. ⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In a fleeting moment
You approach the next potential customer.
To be ignored. Again.
Your bravery has no end.
In a fleeting moment
I hesitate – look back for a second.
You catch my glance with a slight smile.
My eyes admiring your courage.
Yours saying you don’t care for Armani either.

In a fleeting moment⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
you forget me.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
